Just wondering if anyone has been - what's the line situation?  Do they have any seeds in stock?

There was no line when I went yesterday morning. They are counting people on the way in, though, so I think they close the door when it hits a certain occupancy.

I can't answer your question about seeds.

Seeds and baby chicks are now being hoarded.  Crazy.  First of all it takes about 16-20 weeks or so for baby chicks to develop enough to start laying eggs.  Good luck finding seeds, the website I usually get mine from reports being overwhelmed and has temporarily shut down to clean/disinfect and also to just have a chance to restock their warehouse

They're shipping, though it's chaotic.  I ordered a bunch of bags of water softener salt crystals.  Was supposed to  be here Saturday, showed up this a.m. No big deal but they left them on the wooden pallet in my driveway.  Not sure they would leave a pallet behind in normal times.

Where did you order from?  I've got plenty, but I've never considered buying bulk.  Does it cost less than Costco?

What kind of seeds are you looking for?

Just went to HD online and ordered.  I shared the order with a friend, 5 bags for me 5 for him.  The one minor gripe is that they force you to pay an express delivery fee - $35.  But since they didn't deliver on Saturday, I spoke to store people on the phone and said they should really take that off the bill.  They said no problem but who knows.  Without the express fee, 10 bags were I think $56, before tax.  Not bad.

Ok, thanks.  Costco is still better for me.  HD bags are about the same price, but 5 lbs lighter.

Last year we got some zinnia seeds we liked - HD might not have them - got them at the Great Swamp Greenhouse.  I suppose it's the veggie seeds that have had a high demand.

Why not order from Burpee Seeds? They seem to have an assortment.
