Just what the world needs an extremely hypocritical limousine liberal. But I doubt he would want to leave his 400 acre NJ estate and his horse-set friends.

Why do you hate those who've gained hard-earned wealth?

He did not build it.

Just wondering: who built it? Christie? He couldn't have bought that many tickets...then again, those seats are narrow.

He's wealthy, we get it.  If that disqualifies you from speaking up for the "working man," then surely you can't vote for Trump, though I know you will.

He has told us he is voting for Hillary. And BTW people the topic of this thread is Hillary Clinton not Bruce Springsteen.

Have you been here for the past few days?  smile

I am actually not holding my nose much at all. I remain confident that in the end the Clintons will be the Clintons. Which means pragmatic. And that I consider a good thing.

I like the idea that HRC's paying attention to Arizona and Utah...even Georgia. Dems smell blood in the water. Yeah, yeah, I'm counting my chickens...but if this isn't a landslide, I'm gonna be even more cynical than I already am.

Actually you don't know what those 22 top secret and above top secret e-mails said. They are considered so important they won' be released, even in redacted form. If you don't think that's 'serious violations', your entitled to your opinion.

I'm not sure what you're basing this on? Per coverage I've read, like this article, we do know the subject matter of the eight email chains classified as "top secret," and they concern drone strikes in Pakistan and a conversation with the president of Malawi.

I do hate poll watchers who try to get you to report to them before going to your voting station by pretending to have some official role or pretending to be trying to be helpful. I love walking right by them and if challenged loudly calling them what they are, party hacks.

Poll watchers a.k.a. challengers are official representatives of candidates. Their role is to prevent fraud, although as we know fraud is very rare.

And BTW the Election Officials you see at the Polls are Party activists who have worked their way into those paid positions. When I began being politically active it was they who were clearly the Party hacks and the poll watchers a.k.a.challengers were there to prevent them from committing fraud.

Sometimes you really don't know what you are talking about

Agree completely. Pragmatic is a perfect descriptor...She and Bubba rarely nuke countries.

The drip, drip, drip continues.

'Emails Renew Questions About Clinton Foundation and State Dept. Overlap

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/10/us/politics/emails-renew-questions-about-clinton-foundation-and-state-dept-overlap.html?_r=0

James B. Comey Jr., the F.B.I. director, was noticeably circumspect in an appearance last month before the House oversight committee when Republicans questioned whether the investigation had looked at the Clinton Foundation. Twice, he declined to say.'

My decision to wait to see what happens doesn't seem so strange now.

Yes but the name of the thread is "Hillary Clinton". A discussion about a rock star belongs in "Arts and Entertainment".

And if from Day one of Trump's campaign all discussions about him here and in the media had been properly confined to "Arts and Entertainment" we would not be in the mess we are in.

I really do not understand what you think could possibly happen to change the election from Clinton v. Trump, but I guess hope springs eternal.

I believe the HuffPo tried that. Didn't work out too well.

Say what you will about him, he is constantly in the headlines and he has to be taken seriously. Politically speaking there's a long way to November.

Please spare me the crap. Saying what you think can happen and wanting it to happen are 2 different things.

What could possibly happen?

1 Comey actually investigates the Foundation and finds more evidence of wrong doing by her and Bill, or wrong doing by her subordinates she should have known about.

2 New and more damning e-mails are released.

3 Make up your own scenario.

Do you think these thing cannot happen? Would you be happy if they did?

True. If only we all possessed such wisdom instead of rushing head first into deciding not to wait to see what happens.

I think a discussion about Trump belongs in "Please Help"

Well, now you've won today's internet, I guess I'll have to go back to work.

I'm kicking myself for voting in July instead of waiting until November.

My lack of clarity. I was trying to make light of the ongoing intense debate.

A certain poster and vigorous Springsteen apologist got incensed when I brought up Springsteen's hypocrisy in a "Arts and Entertainment" threat. The poster said such things did not belong there.

why don't you just start a completely new "Hypocritical Limousine Liberals" discussion and you can bash away at Springsteen and Susan Sarandon and Ben Affleck to your heart's content?

Man, if lots of money disqualifies one as a genuine liberal, we're in trouble. Didja see that convention lineup? Thought I was watching the Golden Globes.

I have to admit, you see almost no hypocrisy on economic issues from conservatives.  They live their lives totally consistent with their "f the poor" beliefs.

Of course all those talking heads and MOLers who predicted THIS will end Trumps run to the nomination were wrong and had to adjust to a new reality, but that's irrelevant.

I now have you and your friend, with a crystal ball, so I needn't worry, you both will fill me in on what will happen in September.

So tell me, will Trump still be around - if so what outrageous thing will he say - will Ryan take back his endorsement - will Assange drop another load of e-mails Hillary didn't turn over and will they do her damage -and when you answer those questions I have more to ask. I'm really interested in what will happen in the future and am happy I have you and your friend to tell me.

It's a political lifetime from now until November. It's obvious to me that lots of things may or may not happen that will turn out to be relevant or not relevant to the election. I'm keeping my mind open to anything that could turn out to happen or not happen.

Each day brings us one day closer to the election and each day seems to bring more bad news for Trump. More and more Republicans are jumping ship. Condemnation of him becomes stronger and stronger.

But who knows, maybe something will come out about Hillary so damaging that her supporters will finally decide that having a bigoted lunatic as President is better than having her. Maybe Hispanics will decide to self-deport instead of waiting for Trump to deport them. Maybe Muslim Americans will decide that this country is not for them. Maybe everyone will be come "Pro-life". and anti gun control.

Who can predict the future?

That's true.  I heard that the record company gave him a big advance.  cheese

Anything can happen.

I would not be happy.

If the choice is still Trump or Clinton I would vote for Clinton.

I have previously said that if the choice were Trump or John Edwards I'd vote for Edwards.
