Heavy Rain tonight, Wed 8/18

Remnants of tropical storm Fred will drag tropical moisture near our area overnight and cause heavy rain.

Rain after midnight, heavy at times, with total rainfall in the 1 - 2 inch range. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms. While the rain is the main feature of this system, there is a chance of gusty winds should a thunderstorm occur. Rain begins around midnight and should be over by early Friday morning.

 Thursday morning or Friday morning?  Weather reports I am hearing say the rain will be over by Thursday morning.
