There was a long discussion of whether the Left "flipped" premised on threats of censorship on perceived hate speech. Of course this was based on Liberal's (not extreme leftists) historic support of Freedom of Expression.
Historically the Right has not been as supportive. Certain elements of the Right opposed freedom of expression by Communists and other elements of the Right supported governmental bans on "obscenity".
Mr. Trump does not have much respect for the expression of opinion with which he disagrees.
