Halloween Parade?

Anyone know if the Halloween Parade will be held in Maplewood Village this year?  I don't see it mentioned on the MVA website.

Never mind.  Just found this on the October 28, 2017 edition of Essex News Daily

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Ghosts, goblins and witches will be roaming Maplewood Village along Maplewood Avenue at the annual Halloween Costume Contest, sponsored by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce and Allison Ziefert Real Estate Group, on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 3 to 5 p.m.  The festivities include trick or treating, music and dancing, and prizes for best costumes. This year’s event features the Teal Pumpkin Project to provide non-food treats as an option for children with food allergies and other conditions. For more information, contact the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce at 973-477-6352 or lstorch61@gmail.com.

Joan - It has been a featured event on the MOL home page for quite a while.

Good to know.  Guess I will have to check out the home page more often.  My bookmark takes me directly to discussions.

Probably better than the nonsense "organized" by SOVCA. Wish they could find someone to lead that non-profit that has the right experience to fundraise & efficiently run the org.
