Grifters Gonna Grift: Scott Pruitt
Pruitt spent $1560 on eight pens from a place called the Tiny Jewel Box. Democratic Representative Macry Kapur of Ohio inserted an amendment into the EPA interior bill limiting the amount of taxpayer funds Pruitt could spend on individual pens to $50 each - and it passed.
There's a Yiddish word for Pruitt that is perfect - schnorrer. (Look it up.) Pruitt may be the biggest schnorrer to ever hit D.C.

It's worth noting that Joni Ernst and her Iowa Senate colleague, Chuck Grassley, didn't seem to have any problem with Pruitt's Caligulan ethics until he started threatening ethanol subsidies.

That's because, as it now turns out, most republicans have situational principles. Meaning, their principles depend on who or what they are applied to. For example deficit spending, when obama does it it is terrible, but when in power they happily double down.
Wasn't it Milton Friedman who said that there is no such thing s a free lunch.

As I said somewhere else, this is how far the administration is willing to go to continue killing Planet Earth with this psycho holy-roller who uses terms like "franchise of faith" to describe the Chik-fil-A franchise he tried to cop for his wife. When you hire a guy to head the EPA who has sued the EPA 11 times, there's really no ceiling on corruption. He's doing the job he was hired to do.

EPA staffers met routinely in Pruitt's office to "scrub," alter or remove from Pruitt's official calendar numerous records because they might "look bad," according to Kevin Chmielewski, Pruitt's former deputy chief of staff for operations, who attended the meetings.
He really is the worst ever. Absolutely disgraceful.
What's more disgusting and disgraceful is that he is allowed to remain in office, but's that's where we are.
He is exactly the person Trump wants there. Break the moral, destroy the agency.

I'm not sure about that. He is definetely the least wealthy; he is trying to live the life of those around him.

Pruitt is a kaleidoscope of grift, and that's really saying something when it comes to the Trump White House. I found this latest gem regarding Pruitt's use of the mess dining hall in the West Wing. As Ratso Rizzo said in "Midnight Cowboy: "Well, if it's free then I ain't stealing." And if anyone thinks that Pruitt ever pays for lunch then I've got some used Trump Hotel mattresses to sell you. Watch your wallets.
