insurance should be quick to pay for a hotel and alternate housing, assuming she was insured. if the contractors caused it, i think her insurance still kicks on while they go after the contractor, but she may have to fight for a fair settlement....and in the mean time, some things need to be replaced quickly....clothing, eating out gets expensive if she is in a hotel....I am guessing that is her kid that will need clothing, school supplies, etc.

Early in the morning on December 25th, a fire broke out in Sandi's home destroying everything inside. This was the home Sandi had received from her late father, Frank, and she had just completed renovating the inside. She had moved all of her belongings in and went to a hotel while the last few touches were completed by the contractors. Luckily, no one was hurt in the fire but the new construction and all of her belongings were destroyed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. See the news article here: Christmas Morning Fire
Sandi will need some financial support to get through the next couple of months as she figures out her next steps.
