Girls Soccer Team

Does anyone have suggestions for a nine-year-old girls who wants to play soccer but would like to avoid having travel a lot (i.e. Cougar soccer)?

Call the Baird Center.  SO Rec department used to run South Mountain Soccer - a rec league for residents of SOMA.  As far as I know it was still offered in spring and fall as of a couple years ago.  Good luck!

yes, call or check online at the Baird.org. If memory serves registration for spring is usually right around this time.

Baird.org doesn’t appear to be an active website. 

Found this form from last year--you may be a few weeks early to register, but your daughter would be eligible to play for the U10 team.  Good luck!

If you're a local resident it's helpful to know because it can be much easier to sign up online for activities. (Maplewood red dept has a website too.)
