Gangs In MMS ??

i was at the town hall at MMS yesterday, and i went to the bathroom to try wash my face because it was SO hot in there! anyway, this was carved in the wall of the boys room at MMS. im not trying to start anything but i found it odd that this was on the wall of the boys room at a town hall where the faculty straight up denied any gangs being in MMS. it was painted over , but it was etched so deep in the wall it still showed through. i i would have gotten up to speak and mention it but they were not letting anyone else up on line by the time i went to the bathroom, and i needed to get home it was almost 10pm...

That pretty much settles the matter. Certainly only a duly initiated member of a gang would write the gang name on a bathroom wall.

Most likely a kid playing on the fears of the parents, though it is not funny.

I once wrote "Arsenal" on the school bathroom wall because I was a player for an internationally-recognized world-class London soccer team. Of course, the school denied it.

Both folk and peoples nations have tags that communicate much more to people in that criminal culture while remaining somewhat ambiguous to those outside.

If you're curious, Google away.

You won't know it when you see it but the cops likely will. It won't be CRIP in ballpoint pen.

It might be if, now bear with me here, an 11 year-old had heard the "Crip" on, say, a song they were listening to, and thought it was cool, and then wrote "Crip" in ballpoint on the inside of a toilet stall at school because - now again please bear with me because this may seem outlandish - they're 11.

That's the point. A gang affiliated kid isn't likely to write "Crip" on the *****ter wall like that. I mean, my word, look at the kerning. Disgraceful.

Exactly, it's obviously someone from Latin Kings trying to make the Crips look weak.

I used to write Grateful Dead #1 on the bathroom walls when I was coping a smoke. But only when we were not on tour playing sold out stadiums. Fair thee well.

thug oh oh

What does Hashtag One mean / imply?

Kidding...

Any 11 year old that would dare to write on a bathroom wall must be from outside of our district. Probably Millburn.

Probably a case of Celtic United envy.

Possibly, yes. Whoever they are.

At least 'arse' is appropriate for a bathroom. Age appropriate humor level too.

I was fond of writing "Accounting Society" on the bathroom walls, but that wasn't until college. But I did like to mark my turf.

a basic google image search will bring up plenty of Crip graffiti. thats like, the telltale sign of a gang isnt it? graffiti marks their territory.

there are gangs in all the towns surrounding us arent there? why is it so far-fetched that there are gangs in MMS? our town borders these places. you dont think it can happen? the admins may say there is not a gang problem, but these are the same admins that like to sweep groping students under the rug , and according to MANY mothers who spoke up last night , the admins are ignoring a lot of issues.

i think all the naysayers are in a state of denial. "no no no not in our precious schools" ...

if there is Crip graffiti in a bathroom they must be getting it from somewhere? family member? friend? neighbor? music? the fact that people are comparing grateful dead to Crip graffiti proves my point as to how clueless and in denial this town is .

why is everyone so quick to deny anything negative happening at these schools? did the meeting last night not prove anything? the schools are in disarray. the admins had NO answers for anything! when this simple question was asked:

"is the kid who brought the gun to MMS going to be able to attend CHS?"

they couldnt answer it. a basic question. a VERY important question. they are bureaucrats who care about soundbites. parents were booing at them! i wish we lived in a suburban rainbow utopia where we can all hold hands with all races and get along. if you went to the meeting last night (instead of complaining about me like a bunch of babies) you would have seen how much of a cluster-f the schools are. there were no answers given. the admins say there are no gangs- yet there is gang graffiti in the boys bathroom. something is fishy here. i smell a LOT of denial in our districts.

Yes, they specifically said he will no longer be attending school in the district.

As to the rest of your screed, you seem to have no purpose other than trying to rile people up. What is your solution, other than telling us over and over again that the sky is falling?

While I did find some of the comments about the middle school groping incidents to be a bit too confident ("Every incident" has been reported and investigated, and "No teachers are hesitant to come forward"...I'm not even sure the best administrator in the world could make those claims with such certainty), I certainly did hear a lot of admission that their are serious issues to deal with. Nobody is saying "no, not in our precious schools"...but concluding that finding "crips" ball-point-penned on a bathroom wall is conclusive evidence of gang activity is just kinda dumb. If there is gang activity in the schools, this would not be the evidence to prove it.

"Yes, they specifically said he will no longer be attending school in the district."..... actually they waffled quite a bit on that until Principal Aaron took the mike and said that she has ultimate responsibility on who gets to return to the high school...but left it short of saying that the student would NEVER be allowed back, although from her tone, one was probably meant to infer that.

I thought that was in the context of the kid who brought the air gun to CHS, not the kid at MMS. At least that was how it's been reported.

I think the Village Green may have gotten the two mixed up, but I could of course be wrong on that. The question from the audience was whether after a one-year supension ("the student will never return to MMS"), the student would be allowed into CHS. Principal Aaron did make it clear that the HS student with the air gun would not be back to CHS.

Goodjob, did you LOOK at the photo in the OP??? And yet you can say "Crip graffiti" with a straight face???? LMFAO.

I think it's kind of sad that we are getting mixed up between the air gun kid and the glock kid. :-(

IIRC, neither of the kids involved in the incidents at MMS and CHS will be returning to those schools. The open question at this time is whether or not the seventh grader who brought the gun to MMS will be allowed to attend CHS when the time comes.

i dont have a solution, because its not my job to find one. im a parent- not a admin . quite frankly, i dont want my kid to be killed in school. there was a father who came up to the mic yesterday who said he fears his son wont return evey day he leaves to go to school. did anyone go up to him and call him a trouble maker and "riler" like you are accusing me?
