Friday Jitney Service?

Does anyone know 1) where to find the official updates regarding the jitney and 2) whether or not it will be running tomorrow morning?

We may not know until tomorrow.  If you have signed up for Nixle and/or township alerts, you should get a notification sent to your email as soon as the decision is made.  If you haven't signed up for either (I recommend signing up for both) now would be a great time to do so.  Nixle sign-up should be available on the MPD website.  Notification sign-up is available at the the home page of the official town website.

As of the last alert email I got (around 2pm this afternoon), the train line itself is not running. I don't know what the rule of thumb might be, but I would kind of guess that if the trains aren't running, the  jitneys won't either. But I could certainly be wrong.

If jitney is running tomorrow and train is not, maybe jitney could be redirected to SO for connection to the 107 bus to Port Authority.
