Found dogs on Springfield Ave

Please post if you know these dogs. Found wandering on Springfield Ave.

I can't hold them for very long - my dogs are going nuts. They seem nice - both males. If anyone can hold them until the owner is found, please contact me.

I am pretty sue these dogs have been on the run before, maybe check old lost pets thread here on MOL,

The owners called - they got loose yesterday and made it all the way to Maplewood from Irvington!

Look at the photo of them by the fence. They are holding hands!!!

Thankfully these sweeties were found in Maplewood and not South Orange -- and transported to the exemplary and well-staffed St. Hubert's vs. the dilapidated and barely staffed Livingston shelter.

Absolutely, lbr! If any Maplewoodians read this thread, please contact our mayor and town council members to express support for extending our contract with St. Hubert's.

Thanks, Elle_Cee and lbr for showing that the Livingston Animal Shelter is no shelter. There's no comparison between what St. Hubert's provides and the run-down-one-room-one employee-too-small-cages operation that Livingston offers. It's not a humane place for animals at all.
