Believe it or not, it's even more gruesome. Episode 9 has one of the most goriest things I've ever seen on TV.
It's probably more surreal and weird than Season One. Interesting metaphysical stuff. Generally speaking, equally violent as Season One with the exceptional gory moment in episode 9. You've been warned!
Too late. I just finished episode 7. It's so good when it's not grossing me out. Love the surreal, almost Twin Peaks, wacky characters kind of vibe. But OMG the body count is so high and the dispatches so gory. Now of course I have to see it through even it through my hands over my eyes.

Has anyone watched both seasons? The first season really had me until the last third which suddenly became horribly and grossly violent. Despite that I stayed til the end to see who and why but...is season 2 (with Dennis Quaid) just as violent?
