Eyelash extensions

It's been discussed here in the past, just now looking for an update on recommendations.  Preferably someone with a more subtle touch - don't need caterpillars!

TIA

I don't have a recommendation, but I have been using the Rodan and Fields Lash Boost for a while now and I am often asked if I have extensions. My lashes look very full and I have even stopped using a curler as they naturally curl. Just a heads up as it may be a good alternative. It took about 6 weeks for the lashes to be noticeable fuller. Not sure if you have that type of time if you are looking for extensions for a particular event though.

Do you sell Rodan & Fields?

No. Signed up as a consultant for the discount, but I don't sell it.

^ same. I'd like to but it's one of those things...my lashes got much fuller from Lash Boost and I found it lasted a lot longer than the 60days they say.

any damage r issues if you stop using it?

I ran out a few weeks ago and no damage, my lashes haven't gotten longer since but they haven't fallen out. I was busy with other things so didn't buy more but I will.

I didn't have any issues and my skin is pretty sensitive. My biggest complaint is the expense, but it made a big difference in my lashes. I'd never do extensions because I can barely stand the way mascara feels for more than a few hours.

One thing I like about R&F is they do offer a 60 day money back guarantee (prob minus S&H).

the rash thing is what it is. Probably true for a lot of people with any product you put near the sensitive skin of your eyes. You test it, if it irritates your eyes, you stop using it. Like any beauty product. My concern was around fall, out. I asked because I was wondering if it was like Rogaine where the hair falls out when you stop it.

Your lashes, like most of your hair, shed. They are replaced every 8-12 weeks. So eventually if you stop using it you will return to the lashes you have now. You won't have bold spots unless you have them now. Your lashes will just not grow as long and full. I also ran out at one point and I could tell where the long lashes fell out and were replaced with regular length ones, but it was probably not noticeable to others. Note that in comparison to the damage that eyelash extensions cause, this is pretty minor.

BTW this is the same result with Latisse.

A friend works in the industry and sent me this: https://www.racked.com/beauty/2018/4/17/17243720/rodan-fields-lash-boost-lawsuit-sales

Interesting. I had not seen this before. I have also tried Latisse from the dermatologist. I found the lash boost to perform the same and be much easier to apply than the Latisse.
