external battery charger?

I'm looking for something that can charge a phone (android), mifi and laptop (windows). I realize nothing will keep me going for a week (which is how long we were out of power post Irma), but I'd like something that will charge a phone a couple of times. Doesn't need to be portable. Preferably under $100. any suggestions?

This one will charge my iphone about 2-1/2 times.

The laptop is the trick.  That's going to need an inverter, unless you can match the charging voltage.

Hmm, good point re the laptop. and I'm expecting to get a new one, so it may not even be the same voltage.

Would I need an inverter with a tablet? (never thought I needed one, but hurricane season is changing my mind on a lot of things)

can you charge a laptop via USB-C? I notice a lot of power banks have that.

I think a couple of cheap battery bricks would easily handle the tablet and phone, but if you really need the laptop I'd buy a couple of spares batteries for it.

I'll look into extra batteries when I get around to laptop-shopping.  For now, I was looking at this:

I have a portable emergency battery for jump starting car batteries (from Costco) that also has USB ports.  Would that do?

Scully, that would certainly charge the phone and tablet, but not the laptop.

ril, if you have a macbook that charges from USB C that would work.  I'm not too sure how many times you could charge it, but you could recharge that battery in your car or at a store.

Not a mac, it's a windows laptop. two years old.

added: and no USB-C connection. darn.
