Experience with Apple TV?

We have had a Roku for some years but, for various reasons, we are thinking about switching to Apple TV.  Does anyone have any experience with Apple TV?  Anything we should be looking forward to or looking out for?

Apple TV, Roku and Fire Stick here.  Favorite is the recently purchased Roku Ultra (replaced the old one Roku 3 - that broke- after a few years), voice remote control.  2nd favorite is the fire stick, apple tv is bottom of the list.

Love the Roku search that shows your choices of where to watch a show.

Apple TV is great, especially the simplicity of use.  If you use other Apple products it's a good choice.

What don’t you like about Apple?

I don't have Roku, so I can't compare the two, but the Apple TV shows your choices of where to watch a show as well. When you select a given show, it shows you the synopsis of the show and then says something like "Available on iTunes, Amazon, HBO Go" or whatever. Then there is a button that says "Open in..." and when you click that button you can select which service you want to use to stream that show.

Like someone said above, if you have other Apple devices, or if you have iTunes content on an Apple computer, the integration with the Apple TV is amazingly smooth. You can access any music, videos, photos, etc., just by logging in. But my favorite thing about the Apple TV is how the "TV App" screen keeps a running list of all the shows you watch, regardless of the service* the show is on. When I'm all caught up on a show, the icon for that show disappears from the list, and then when a new episode is available, the icon comes back.

*Not all services comply with the app, but in general it's an excellent feature. Again, I don't know if Roku has a similar function.
