ESL for children and parent - summer and in school district advice and recommendations

My husband's brother and family just came to live with us. They recently came with green cards. I need to register their kids for school. Anyone know anything about the district ESL program for elementary and middle school? I also need to find good ESL classes for the kids and mom for now and the summer.

The elementary ELL (English Language Learner) program is at Clinton.  The middle school program is at Maplewood Middle.  I believe that if these are not your zoned schools, there is busing available.  SOMSD has summer programs for the ELL students.  You can call Ramon Robles, World Language Supervisor, if you need more information.  For Mom, check out Family Connections in Summit.  I believe they offer an ELL program for adults.  Bonne Chance!

The Adult School may be a good source of information for ESL classes for adults.  I seem to recall have seen ESL classes in their catalog in the past.  I know that ESL classes are given at the Hilton Branch.  Check there for more information regarding enrollment.

Contact the Maplewood Library which holds ESL classes for adults.
