Easiest holiday decorating ever

We did this last year, but my phone couldn’t capture pictures of the lights then.  This year I have a new phone and can finally take a picture that shows it.  We basically bought those lights that you point at the house, but instead we pointed them at the trees.  The effect is stunning.  As beautiful as the picture is, it looks even better in person.  

The best part?  Come January it takes less than an hour to put the lights and extension cords away.  And zero ladders.

I’m not sure if it’s my phone or the picture, but it’s only showing a sliver of it on the thread. Click on the picture and you can see three trees lit up, not just the one little tree.

 Good, on my phone it shows up wonky and my kids were on the computer all day so I couldn’t see how it showed up there
