Pecker has been granted immunity

Pecker has flipped.  Pecker is facing some exposure having made several campaign contributions. Pecker had dirt. Pecker had a relationship with Trump. (Getting this from the goofballs at CNN. )

Also heard on CNN - (the Pecker issue) is ginormous.

this was reported in a lot of places other than CNN.  My understanding is that the first reporting came from WSJ.  So it does appear that there is some sort of there there.

We're not saying there isn't. We're making fun of the snickering, double entendre laden coverage.

On topic - I wonder what he was granted immunity from?

ok.

But the OP's claims didn't seem like double entendres to me.  Even now, I read them and I don't get the supposed jokes.  Like how is "flipped" a double entendre?  I've been on this earth a pretty long time, but I don't know that I've ever heard the word "flipped" used in the context of the word pecker.

The Pecker story might not turn out to be as big as promised.

Pecker? Who is Pecker?

CEO of the company that publishes the National Enquirer.

The satirical summer TV show "Trial and Error" takes place in the Town of East Peck where the residents are called Peckers. I though the thread was a joke.

I may have been misled by the fact that this thread is in Soapbox, not Soapbox-Politics.

I thought putting it in Soapbox was done as a way around the hiding of the Politics discussions.

Will Jamie grant the Pecker thread immunity for the weekend?

They were doubles entendres. Sorry. Couldn't resist. As I was listening to CNN the humor was...inescapable.

I would like the title, "Potus Pickled in a Peck of Peckers" but it mught be picked for pornographic publicity.

Ali on MSNBC ; "There's a lotta juice ta squeeze outta the Weiselberg immunity...*

I had to double check this one - it sounded like a joke.  This is mainly in relation to the Cohen case.

"WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Enquirer kept a safe containing documents on hush money payments and other damaging stories it killed as part of its cozy relationship with Donald Trump leading up to the 2016 presidential election, people familiar with the arrangement told The Associated Press.

The detail came as several media outlets reported on Thursday that federal prosecutors had granted immunity to National Enquirer chief David Pecker, potentially laying bare his efforts to protect his longtime friend Trump."

Networks have to be careful with their story summaries.

Are you going to add Weiselberg to the title or should I start a new thread?

The WSJ has been kicking butt on some bombshell breaking news.

I give you Newsweek Magazine's cover of May 14, 1973.  It took more than two years for the Watergate scandal to unfold ending in Nixon's resignation on August 8, 1974.  Russia-gate is far more complex and is growing offshoots. Pundits refer to shoes dropping off a centipede, which can have between 15 and 177 pairs of legs. That's between 30 and 354 pairs of shoes. By the time Nixon left the White House for the last time at 61-years-old, he was worn down to a nub.
