Don't Be Fooled

I'm starting the thread in the hope that George Soros or some other like-minded gazzillionnaire catches wind of it.

Anyway, the idea is to sponsor a series of short tv spots - less than 30 seconds. Maybe 15.

Each spot works exactly the same way.

  • A short clip of Trump saying something. If it's short enough, repeat it from different venues.
  • The graphic "Don't be fooled."
  • A brief explanation that proves he's lying, with a reference.
  • End

Of course, there would be a corresponding website and social media efforts.

Produce about 25 of these suckers and run'em all day, especially on Fox/Sinclair. Maybe it will change some minds, maybe it won't, but it's worth the effort. Even if there's enough buzz about it to get the "Don't Be Fooled" meme out there, it would be worth it.

One thing that continually pisses me off is the lack of issue advertisements Dems/Libs put up. I see right wing crap all the time - I'm seeing pro-Kavenaugh commercials a few times a day. I've seen exactly 1 for the anti side.

So George - I'm waiting on you now.

Don't wait for George. Figure out how to become a gazzilionaire yourself.

But seriously the Trumpites will just see it as "fake news".

They are really unreachable.

I read at a Trump rally, a person was gushing because she getting $300 back this due to his tax cut. It was a "thank you President Trump for giving me $300. No one else has ever done this."

Very sad. A serious deficit of thinking skill. Does she not realize her $300 will be paid back with interest added on?

Actually db, Bill Maher said recently that the Dem gazillionaires were cheap compared  to the GOP donors. He came up with a couple like Buffet or Gates and mentioned donation amounts which by their income sounded rather paltry. Maher famously donated $1,000,000 to Obama and Bill has nowhere near the money of folks like Buffet, Gates and Zuckerberg who at least should pony up some cash after his FB bot fiasco.

But, speaking of FB, there are ways to disseminate info on FB as we all know that can be potent.

As individuals if you want to reason with Trump voters, just follow any popular Dem politician like Cory Booker and weigh in. He is trolled regularly.

But if Soros is listening, I hope he backs your suggestion. And perhaps a slew of NFL and NBA players.

Might be a project for John Oliver.

I’d skip the references and just go with Trump directly contradicting himself.

Good luck with that, but you might have a tough crowd:

Better to run a positive campaign supporting Medicare for All, free college and a living wage and to let them know that having roads to drive on is also socialism.
