College essay help

Kid has to write 3 essays (2 schools not on the common app) and is not a strong writer.  Note this is not for top tier schools nor popular in our area schools.  Just need some basic help getting started and review.  Any recommendations?

Not sure if you need it right away or for next fall.  The Maplewood South Orange Adult school has a course in the fall(four Tuesdays: Sept 24 to Oct 16). My daughter took it and found it to be quite helpful.  The teacher reviews the essay as well as some peer review in the class.

thanks all!  The class sounds like a great idea but I’d like her to get it/them done this summer so she doesn’t have to worry about it on top of schoolwork.
