This is the problem with "businesspeople" going into government. They have NO IDEA what they are talking about. They think the Federal government is just one giant private enterprise.

In his interview with Chris Cuomo this morning, Scaramucci quoted Joe Paterno.
Scaramucci told Cuoma "Why don't you honor your job?" "Remember Joe Paterno? What would he say? Act like you've been there before. Act with honor and dignity and respect and hold the confidence of the presidency in his office."

I don't think Bannon was "aligned" with Preibus in any meaningful sense, except maybe as the best choice among bad choices. Bannon has no use for conventional Republicans, which Priebus was an exemplar of.

Top rank military guys aren't so good at policy making. They're more used to giving orders and anticipating quick results. Look for more delay and finger-pointing while rank and file Rs come up with their own plans.
