Christie Endorses Trump for Prez: Bottom Feeders Unite

(CNN)New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie offered a surprise endorsement to Donald Trump, saying there is no one better prepared to lead the country in the Republican 2016 race.

"I am proud to be here to endorse Donald Trump for president of the United States," the New Jersey Republican told reporters at a press conference in Texas.
"The best person to beat Hillary Clinton on that state last night is undoubtedly Donald Trump," Christie added.
Trump and Christie appeared on stage together the day after a rough debate performance where the real estate mogul faced off against Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.
"Generally speaking I'm not big on endorsements," Trump said, adding, "This was an endorsement that really meant a lot."
Christie, in the waning days of his own presidential campaign, had specifically targeted Rubio as not qualified for the office.

Christie is probably not on anyone's radar for Veep, not even Trump's (and certainly not Rubio's!).  Even Trump, if he is nominated, will try to somehow balance the ticket.  Having another white, Northeast Republican loudmouth on the ticket is not wise even for Trump.

But I can see Christie sucking up for a cabinet post (AG perhaps) or even a Supreme Court nomination.

He endorses the most misogynistic, xenophobic, and islamophobic candidate in the bunch.  Guess Chris has forgiven Trump for lying about seeing "thousands" of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City on September 11.

Since Chris is a man, and not a woman, he doesn't have to worry about The Donald calling him a "fat pig".

Cable news sounds like Trump was endorsed by god. How much does Christie bring to the Trump campaign? Establishment cred? An experienced Rubio-basher? I don't get it.

In the unlikely event Trump wins the election Christie gets to be Attorney General. In the more likely event that Trump loses Christie gets a fat retainer for "legal work" from the Trump Organization as soon as he leaves office.
