Car keys lost near Maplewood Post Office early Friday evening

Found. The gentleman behind the counter at the PO had them!

Actually a single key with small white cord attached as key ring. Please let me know if you found it. Thanks.

Which Post Office: Former Maplewood Avenue Post Office, Current Maplewood Avenue Post Office, or Springfield Avenue Post Office? Those wanting to help search need to know.

Regardless, here are steps you should take, if you haven't already done so:

Step 1: Check pockets, bags, etc. to make sure key was in fact lost.

Step 2: Check the area where key is thought to have been lost to see if key is still where it was left - street, sidewalk, shop(s) visited, etc. Could the key still be in the car?

Step 3: Check locations where key might have been brought by someone finding it - police station, nearby public buildings, nearby businesses that were open at the time, etc.

To clarify, lost in or near the new PO in the village, 195 Maplewood Ave. Have checked all the likely places multiple times. Waiting for the PO to open to see if if they have them.
