I see Dr. Paul Zukoff in New Providence. I believe he has a waiting list to get in as a new patient, but it is worth it. As a plus he draws blood about a week before the visit so he can discuss the results with you in person at your yearly physical instead of just giving you a "everything looks ok" phone call later like my old doc did.
Also, for sick visits they will usually see you same day or next day (though you may see a nurse practitioner instead of Dr. Zukoff, which I'm fine with), not one to two weeks later like my old doctor's practice.
I like Dr. Scott Orenberg in Maplewood. Although I will say that the office people there could be more accommodating / on the ball...

I'm looking to make a change but can never find a doctor who is highly recommended. Of course, I want someone with good bedside manner, but I am also hoping to find someone who is very bright and a good listener.
Why is this so difficult?
