calling abroad

What's the easiest/best calling card to call abroad (Australia)?

Why don't you use skype? It is free . I use it to call Asia.

You could also try "Whats Ap"  on you cell phone. 

I"ve used it for years to call Australia, Israel, Argentina and several South American countries.

I's free from the Google Play store.

Also great for texting and video calling(Free)

Apparently I'm calling a place with no internet access......

Search online for phone cards.   You'll get # minutes for $ and will have to enter a few more digits when you call.

If you have internet access - skype is 2.3 cents a minute landline - 10 cents to mobile.  Or you can pay $6.99 monthly for 300 minutes landline or mobile.  The other side does not need internet access.
