Bad Weather Tomorrow/Thurs?
My friends are flying home from Miami tonight. Their flight, into Newark, was delayed twice and will be getting in two hours late. I was going to check the weather after I perused MOL.
well, FL has bad weather through today-remnants of storm Emily. but this alert was specifically for NYC area tomorrow and Thursday. Weird.
Can't speak for the airline, but your assesment of the weather is right. Chance of thunderstorms.

I see only a so-so chance of thunderstorms. Yet I've received 2 texts from United about possible weather cancellations and delays through Thursday in the New York area. I'm supposed to fly midday tomorrow. There's even an exception handing weather waiver for our area on Uniteds site ( where they allow you to change plans for free).
I am confused? Thoughts?
