Baby Back Ribs

I'm open to recipes or favorites places to go or take out.

My favorite recently had been Trader Joe's BBR - but they discontinued them it seems.  They were so easy to make - cooked on grill.  I like the saucy, fall of the bone variety,

I've tried a couple other ready to go varieties - like Lloyds and Jack Daniels but not crazy about them.  I see Kingsford has one.

Here's the one Trader's had - if anyone sees it back in stock - let me know!

Jamie, They are so easy to DIY!

8 hours in a 230 oven. BBQ sauce of your choice towards the end... All the while with foil just resting on top.

Even better with a rub and wrap in plastic for the previous 24 hours.

Mama's on Springfield in Vauxhall.  In fact, everything there is great.  Call ahead and order...

That's the red building right?  I've been meaning to try them out.

rcarter - thanks for that suggestion also.  I also might try a crock pot or instant pot recipe too.

I've done the slow bake method with a little beer and a rub, then i finish them on the grill. Delicious.

I've done them in the instant pot with a little beer and a rub, then I finish them on the grill. Delicious. You could also finish them under the broiler if you want to crisp em up.

I prefer the slow bake method... I think you get better flavor permeation. But the instant pot gets the job done in about 25 minutes. So both methods have advantages.

The main advantage of both methods is that at the end you get to eat delicious ribs.

Dang - I was thinking of ordering from Mama's tonight - they're going to be closed 9/3 - 9/8.

How long do you have to finish on the grill to crisp but not to dry out? Direct or indirect heat?

 Maybe 10 minutes direct heat

I had good ones two nights ago at Delaney's in Cape May but unless you are staying here it's not worth a 3 hour drive.

Minuteman BBQ in Morris Twp.   Only one weekends.

I use a smoker to cook ribs. I haven't done it in a couple of years, but I use a dry rub. Brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, black pepper, ancho pepper, and anything else you'd like to add. Just cook them that way and add bbq sauce afterwards. They are so tender, I often don't even sauce them. I've cooked them in the oven that way too, but they are much better on a slow water smoker.

If you're down the shore, best ribs ever!  --  https://bedrockbistrobyclementines.com/
