August Taxes

It's mid-June and we haven't received a bill, or find the amount due on the Online Payment portal. Any idea when is this information mailed/posted? 

We just got ours on Friday.

Haven't gotten mine yet either.  Thanks for posting that it is in the mail.

the next tax payment is due 8/1/18

was the bill "estimated"  or final 2017/2018?

So not in the mail yet  for those of us Maplewoodians seeing the thread was in Maplewood Specific and assuming a response "just got mine" referred to Maplewood homeowners.  Thanks for the clarification.

The Maplewood Tax Collector should be able to know when the Maplewood tax bills are going to be mailed. In South Orange, we received estimated 1st quarter taxes because the South Orange municipal budget has been introduced but has not yet been finally adopted. I think Maplewood has adopted its 2018 budget so Maplewood taxpayers should be receiving the final tax bills. 

Remember that the August (3Q) bill is always the largest because it includes the "makeup" amount for first and second quarters which were billed at prior year rate.  So don't multiply by four and think that's your new annual tax amount.

I checked the Maplewood website and it only shows the 2018 introduced budget, not the adopted, so I was wrong.
