AUDITIONS for the Strollers' winter children's show, "How the World Got Wisdom"

The Strollers is casting children of all ages for its winter children's show, "How the World Got Wisdom," a multi-ethnic, multi-generational celebration of African folktales told through story, song, and dance.

We're seeking adults, teens, and kids (7 or older) for this fun and creative ensemble show. No experience required.

Auditioners should be prepared to tell a fable or folk story of their choice (in animated fashion) or cold read a scene from the show. They may also be asked to sing a simple song and learn a simple dance combo.]

People with knowledge of African dance styles are especially encouraged to audition.

We also seek percussion musicians with knowledge of African musical styles to be part of the on-stage band during performances.
