I seem to remember that being the price. After getting food at the hot bar at Whole Foods, (over $10.00/lb) Ashley seems reasonable.
I do avoid any food that has a lot of bones when getting food by the pound.

Not bones; rice dish. The amount jarred me because again, I don't recall it being that rate. You're probably right. Haven't been to that section since mid-August.
half price after 7:30. but by 7:35 it is almost empty. You need to get there by 7:20, pick out your food and then wait or do other grocery shopping. Might be 7:00 on sundays.

Went to pick up a quick hot lunch for myself @ Ashley's and noticed that their "oven hot buffet" items are now $7.99 cents a pound. So the small-medium dish (one food item, no mix) I was craving (approx 0.98 pounds) was $7.83 at the counter.
Is it just me or does this seem like a lot per pound for hot food items? The last I purchased from the buffet was the end of summer and don't recall the price being $7.99.
