Anyone With Sprint?

have had Sprint about 8 months. Not as good as ATT ( most noticeable in NYC) but has generally been okay. At the price for Unlimited with 5 lines at practically 1/2 ATT or Verizon, I've been relatively happy with it.

Starting about 7-10 days ago, it's been awful everywhere (home in various parts of NJ, on Long Island and in NYC). I noticed it has only said 3G since about a week ago where before, it was 3G occasionally but mostly it said LTE.

My husband and I both have iPhone 7s. His is still mostly LTE in the same house/locations.

Any reason anyone can think of why mine is stuck in 3G? I was thinking Sprint network issues but husbands phone works much better

Try a soft reset on your phone. Hold the home and power button down simultaneously (for about ten seconds). The phone will power down and restart. Release after the Apple logo disappears. 

Do you and your husband have different kinds of cases on your phones? 

I ask because my wife and I both have the same phone, but for her work she feels the need to keep her phone in a very heavy-duty case, whereas my case is just a plastic sleeve. I consistently get a better signal than she does in any given location, both wifi and cellular. It's purely a guess, and purely anecdotal*, but I attribute the difference to our cases.

*I often think we should remove both cases and compare the two phones side-by-side, but we never have.

EDITED TO ADD: Our carrier is Verizon, not Sprint.

thank you. Tried the reset and we have same cases. So weird. Guess a painful call to Sprint or less painful trip to the Apple Store is in order!
