any local stores for computer cables

I am specifically looking for a USB A to USB A male to male cable and/or a usb ethernet adapter.

places other than chain stores.  found the adapter in best buy regular price $25, but $10 shipped from other sources.

my friend's apple mac air lost wifi connection the other day...went to plug it into the router and found he didn't have the cable or adapter.  I did troubleshoot it (changed the channel on the router), but would like to be able to run to a store and get a cable/adapter within 24 hours if need be for a future problem.  He doesn't want to spend money on an item he probably will never need since the chance it will be needed is so small....

so if there is a place nearby I could just stop in and pick up right away (at a better price than Best Buy) I would just do that.....if the need ever arises

(he actually lives in Westfield, so anything anywhere between the Maplewood/Westfield are would be fine).

Sorry but the only electronics store I know of any more is Micro Center up in Paterson. They would likely have it but that's out of the way.

i got my last laptop at microcenter.. it broke within a couple months and customer service was deplorable....otherwise I would consider that, not a bad drive without traffic

I get all my cables from Amazon these days. Cheaper and a wide selection.

 well, I didn't want to brag.

I ordered something today at around noon. Got it by 7pm (yes, I had to fork over an extra $4 shipping, but what the hell. sometimes it's worth it)

 neither of us is a Prime member, don't want to pay for shipping, want to be able to just pick one up last minute if the extremely unlikely event he needs it.
