Airbnb near beach

New to the area and looking to do a rental near a beach on the shore for a few days midweek. The Jersey shore is totally new to us. Nothing fancy okay. Just the hubs, my 14 yr old boy and I.  Need a small house (or apartment) near a nice beach, without spending a zillion dollars. Any recommendation? Thank you!

I suspect in normal seasons - many of these wouldn't be available, In the past most people tend to rent a house for a week or the season and I think airbnb is a relatively new way to do this.

Just do a bit of research on beach passes - sometimes the rentals will have them - if not each beach has their own system.  And some places have limited supply.
