agressive squirrels, help!

I have disgusting aggressive squirrels and I don't know how to control them. They run rampant and defecate all over my porch and porch furniture. They chew through screens, and make holes in my porch furniture cushions where they place their nuts. I  have stopped using flower boxes altogether because I thought that may have been the attraction, but it's not any better. It's disgusting!  How do I repel them?!

1) Fox urine.

2) Borrow a German Shepherd.

3) Pay someone to trap them and "drive them out to the country."

When I cut my son's hair, I used to throw the cut hair around the vegetable garden. It smells better than fox urine. I also sprayed pepper based "Critter Ridder" on specific things, like tulips that I wasn't planning to eat to repel them.

How much time do you spend on your porch? Our patio furniture cushions have only gotten chewed when we left them out while away on vacation. We're out there every night otherwise and that seems to keep them away even during the day when we're at work.

I'd be careful with the pepper spray on anything people might touch. If it gets on your hands then you touch mucous membranes, it'll be much worse than anything the squirrels do.
