Presidential Results Thread

maybe needs its own thread?

I know only a small percent reporting but I am getting a sick and sinking feeling as I see Virginia and Florida trending for Trump. I feel sick. I am so nervous.

How's everyone feeling? Early reactions?

Edited: Okay as the percent reporting grows, it's evening out a bit so I can breathe again. This is tough.

I'm hopeful and nervous in equal measures. There are areas of VA and FL that will trend heavily for Trump. results from those areas may be reported first. I was also surprised by how emotional I felt this morning when I was on my way to the Woodland to vote. A cocktail and a deep breath helps

Nervously watching here, too.

Now Clinton is leading in Florida.

Yes, they just reviewed the details of how this works so I feel much better.

question

Hillary is leading 75-66 on her way to 270 and beyond!

Florida is trending for Trump. Yowsa.

I have to stop watching.

this is torture. Critical states of FL and VA seem they might go to Trump

Declaring that House will remain Republican. Unable to turn it.

If it makes you feel any better, the 538 statistics site is increasing its probability of Clinton winning.

However, don't click on the Senate race toggle... It's not looking good for the Dems.

I hope Comey burns in hell...

Over here (Australia) we can look at the live results, but I understand that I may be breaking US law if I post the actual link.

If, however, you want to poke around our National news site abc.net.au/news , I'm sure you might find something of interest.

S&P futures just took a plunge. (Florida)

? I don't understand. Why do you think that website has any more updated information than what we are getting?

I think it's already tomorrow there.

It's just not good, not good.

Virginia shouldn't be so difficult. I'm afraid we are losing. Sorry folks.

The 4 important toss up states are all leaning towards a Trump win. Oh my God. The beginning of the end... I'm trying not to panic but this is looking bad.

Dow plunged 500.

US media can only predict the outcome in states where voting has closed. This is to avoid influencing voter turnout. The concern is voters will be discouraged if they feel they cannot affect the result.

In Australia, we're not bound by this restriction, so we can see the results as they come in.

That's what the S&P futures are saying: -69.50

The Detroit Red Wings just won in Philadelphia, the last time that this happened there was a Clinton in the Whitehouse.

Maybe but I see no difference in what is being reported on your site vs ours. In fact, our sites are quicker at updating the closed states.
