no trump= pence. No way around that. I’d still like to see impeachment then jail.

Pence is the lesser of two weasels. I think there would be little policy difference. There would be much less narcissistic posturing and unstable behavior.

I also honestly think DT has a shot at re-election whereas I don't think MP would.

I also think a DT impeachment potentially leads to civil unrest and possible violence. Some of his supporters are that crazy and heavily armed. I'd rather see him resign in the face of a likely impeachment, because I don't think he could stand the spectacle of being criminally prosecuted. I'm sure in such a circumstance he would attempt to negotiate a pardon from whoever replaces him.

I’d like him to resign while his son and son in law go to jail. That would be very poetic.

do you think the chances of him ordering a preemptive nuclear strike are anything above zero?  If so, I tend to think wishing for his death would actually be a virtuous thing to do (if wishing really made things happen, that is).
