4th of July or 100th Birthday Celebration in 2022?

I've been searching for information but haven't found anything about the Family 4th or Maplewood's 100th Birthday.  I did find an article in Village Green from July 2021 that said "stay tuned for Maplewood's 100th Birthday" in 2022.

Are there any plans for celebrating the 4th or Maplewood's 100th birthday?

"nay to the big fireworks and entertainment for this year, but we are planning a joint parade and some other fun activities to celebrate. More details soon as they’re confirmed"

Really getting into the spirit of legalized marijuana, aren’t we?

1 P.M., Meet in front of police station. Assemble to parade down Springfield Ave, to Valley, to the Village with our joints held high in the air, in celebration. 

3 P.M., We all light up in the tunnels, then go to the park where we can fall out for a couple of hours. 

Great opportunity for food trucks around 3:30- 6:00.  

Other ideas are welcome.
