Just saw this poignant and poetic 45 minute film which has a different panel discussion each night. Tonight the panel was various linguistic professors and students from Montclair State. Post-film was a talk with the director Lena Herzog. This film is a cry of despair to the global crisis of our 6000 current global languages which are in a state of extinction (actually half, according to Unesco, or one vanishing language a week). Drag your high school student who is probably unaware of this global crisis. Playing October 16-20 at 7:30 PM. Different and unforgettable, kudos to Montclair State for these interesting panel discussions.
