SOUTH ORANGE INT\'L BLUES FESTIVAL at CHERRY LANE/SOUTH MOUNTAIN RESERVATION SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th, 2012 Following its inaugural year in South Orange and its second year in its new location, the third annual South Orange International Blues Festival (SOIBF), a free family-friendly concert on September 9, 2012, will return to the green and beautiful South Mountain Reservation in West Orange in order to accommodate expected crowds. The Sunday nine-hour music fest will be headlined by Grammy-winning guitarist VERNON REID of the iconic rock band LIVING COLOUR, as he joins New York blues legends MIHAEL HILL’s BLUES MOB. Reid appears on the new Mob album on the JSP (London) label entiled “Goddesses & Gold Redux\" , slated for release worldwide on August 28th. As is its custom, the fest will feature a broad palette of veteran blues performers and rising stars, including some of the best-received artists of the 2010 and 2011 concerts.
