Maplewood Porchfest

Imagine strolling the streets of Maplewood and stopping at one porch, then another, and then another to enjoy music and entertainment all day long. That’s Porchfest!

Enjoy this fun and free event every year on Labor Day Sunday, rain date Monday, in the Hilton neighborhood, from 1-5pm. The event kicks off at noon in front of the Community Center at DeHart Park with music, balloons, a fundraiser bake sale, and a rehearsal for our “honk parade,” where everyone in the family is welcome to make music and march! 

New: Enjoy a free jitney service running on Rutgers St./Field Rd. from Hilton Ave. to Porter Rd.  That means a little less walking and a lot more music and entertainment. We hope you’ll be there!

* Saturday 9/1 - we'll post our digital map with interactive listings for a complete schedule of the event featuring 35 porches hosting 50 performances all over the Hilton neighborhood plus our jitney route and lemonade stands for charity.
