Giving Teens a Voice to Discuss Race

The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race has teamed up with Maplewood and South Orange public libraries in two gatherings for middle school students and other teens to discuss race. Participants will identify common race issues and brainstorm on creating supportive environments for community youth. First session: Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Maplewood Memorial Library. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
