Meanwhile, four young Athenians lovers are caught in a romantic tangle. Lysander and Demetrius both love Hermia; Hermia loves Lysander and her friend Helena loves Demetrius. All four young lovers spend a dreamlike night in the woods where they are bewitched by the mischievous Puck.
